Privacy Policy
Last updated 12 June 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what personal information Pro Trader collects when you use our website, platform and community, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the Pro Trader website and related services.
1. Information You Provide
When you request free access or join our community, we collect the details you submit through our forms — your name, country, email address and Telegram username. If you create a platform account (at app.myprotrader.com) or contact us, we also collect the information you provide there. You do not need to enter payment details to join the free community.
2. Information Collected Automatically
When you visit the website, we and our providers automatically receive certain technical data, including your IP address, device and browser type, referring pages and pages viewed, through server logs and cookies. Your theme preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and is not sent to us.
3. Cookies and Tracking
We use the Meta (Facebook) Pixel to measure website activity and to support advertising. This technology may set cookies and share event data with Meta. You can control cookies through your browser settings and manage ad preferences through Meta's own controls. Where required by law, we will request your consent before setting non-essential cookies.
4. Marketing Source Data
We may record marketing attribution parameters (such as utm_source, utm_medium and utm_campaign) attached to the links you arrive through, so we can understand which campaigns bring visitors to Pro Trader.
5. How We Use Your Information
- to provide access to the community, group links and platform features you request;
- to send you access information and updates you have agreed to receive;
- to operate, secure, maintain and improve the Service;
- to measure marketing and understand how the Service is used; and
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations.
6. Marketing Communications
By submitting our access form you agree to receive Pro Trader group-access information and updates. You can opt out of marketing messages at any time using the unsubscribe option or by contacting us.
7. How We Share Information
We share personal information only as needed to run the Service, including with:
- service providers who process data on our behalf, such as our database provider (Supabase) and our website hosting provider;
- Meta, in connection with the advertising and measurement tools described above;
- Telegram, when you choose to join our community there, subject to Telegram's own privacy policy;
- broker and introducing-broker partners, where you choose to open or verify an account with them; and
- authorities or advisers where required by law, regulation or to protect our rights.
We do not sell your personal information.
8. International Transfers
Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including by the providers listed above. Where personal data is transferred internationally, we take steps to ensure it remains protected in line with applicable law.
9. Data Retention
We keep personal information for as long as necessary to provide the Service and for the purposes described in this Policy, and thereafter as required to meet legal, accounting or regulatory obligations.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or restrict the processing of your personal information, to object to processing, to data portability, and to withdraw consent. To exercise these rights, contact us using the details below. You may also have the right to complain to your local data-protection authority.
11. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
12. Children
The Service is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with information, please contact us so we can remove it.
13. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party websites and platforms that we do not control. This Policy does not apply to them, and we encourage you to review their privacy notices.
